Come on, guys
Man, Johns Hopkins is not doing much of a job selling itself. First I get this email:
"Good Afternoon,
We are finishing our Transfer Application Process and the Director asked that I contact you and would like you write a brief explanation as to why you would like to Transfer after 3 years vested in an institution."
I never replied. First of all, it was two years, not three, and second of all, I already told you. And now today I get this one:
"Benjamin,
I wanted to be in touch as we finish up our transfer admissions process for the Fall of 2007. Your file is complete with all required documents, however, I did have one question.
Over the 2005-2006 academic year, could you describe what you have been doing - as you have taken a year off from University of Dublin. We'd just like to have a clearer sense of your activities over the past year.
Thanks for your assistance,
John Birney"
This one I object to less, though I'm pretty sure I answered that one, too. No, what bothers me is that my name is not Benjamin.
Considering replying, just because I want the distinction of getting in. But if the operation is being run by schmucks like this, how much of a distinction is it, really?
